Gladiator II Review

Ready to re-enter the Colosseum in ancient Rome? In 2000 Gladiator was released, the historical epic won five Academy awards including Best Picture and Best Actor for Russell Crowe. Twenty-four years later director Ridley Scott has given us a sequel - Gladiator II. Scott had a mammoth task at hand, how do you create a sequel to one of the greatest films of all time? Gladiator II is a four-star exhilarating historical epic. It fails to live up to its predecessor, but that doesn't not mean it is a bad film or even an unworthy sequel. I greatly enjoyed the cinematic experience that is Gladiator II, in all its historically epic style! Christmas Movie List

Hi!! Christmas is my favourite time of year, I love the awful jumpers, baking cookies, snuggling in the warm with hot chocolate, but most of all I love the movies. I would watch Christmas films all year around if I could (I may have watched Christmas films on occasions after nights out back when I was at university... but shhhh don't tell). With December less than a week away I decided to make a Christmas Movie Watchlist. The list is made up of 24 films for 24 days - it's sort of like a Christmas advent calendar but with films! Brilliant right? I haven't numbered the films that way you can watch them in whatever order you like. The list is made up of my favourites, some have been favourites since I was a child, some are films that have come out this year, but I love them all.
